TODAY: CONFIRMATION CLASSES begin here at 12pm: We will have the first of our explorations of faith. Our first session is looking at God. These sessions will last an hour and are for adults and children and for those looking to be Confirmed or for those just wishing to refresh their faith.
CONTEMPLATIVE COMMUNION SERVICE, Wednesday (5th) at St. Anne's at 7pm: The first of an occasional series of evening services of communion will begin this week. This is an opportunity to experience communion with more quiet and stillness around the words and the actions. For the moment these services will be occasional, every two to three weeks.
COFFEE MORNING, Thursday (6th), 10am-11am: Join us for coffee, tea, cake and biscuits and a chat.
NEXT SUNDAY (9th), CARING AND SHARING: The tin will be on the font for donations
PRAYER AT ST. ANNE'S: Come and join us for Morning Prayer, Mon-Fri, 9:15am. Silent Prayer continues at 7pm on Tuesdays.
FSW FOODBANK: This month Family Support Work would like donations of cereal, crisps, ketchup, tinned tomatoes, tinned potatoes/vegetables, tinned meat, cleaning products, coffee, tinned fruit, rice, toiletries. Please bring to St Anne's by THIS Thursday. (NOT CURRENTLY NEEDED: baked beans, tea, biscuits).
DONATIONS FOR OUR BOOK SALE (Saturday 21st September): Please do continue to donate books for the sale. We are looking for both fiction and non-fiction on all subjects and genres in good condition (please,
no A-Zs, Road Maps or National Trust guides). Please leave in the back right pew.
ST ANNE'S OPENING TIMES: A reminder that the Church is open Monday to Saturday from 9:15 until 4pm for people to come in and explore the church or to spend some quiet time. (Times when church is open may vary depending on services and other events.)
