Family Support Work supports families in the local area facing multiple challenges in their lives. They help families who are struggling with a range of issues including mental or physical illness; disability; family breakdown; domestic abuse; bereavement; and social isolation. During lockdown their services have been needed more than ever as issues that were previously challenging have been magnified. They have continued with their support both remotely via phone/text/social media and by socially distanced visits to families. Their foodbank has been a lifeline for families struggling to manage on reduced finances. To find out more, visit www.familysupportwork.org.
